Saken rundt Prioritet sin bannlysing fra Google har skapt såpass furore i det norske søkemotoroptimaliseringsmarkedet at jeg tror man i fremtiden snakker om før og etter Prioritet-saken.
I Martin Bekkelunds post "Prioritet snakker ut", kan man lese hele Prioritets svar til kundene sine. Martin har også analysert dette videre i posten "Åpen svar til Prioritet". Den korte versjonen er at Prioritet skylder på gamle løsninger hos enkelte kunder, mens fakta er at de fleste løsninger de leverer og har levert entent jukser eller bryter med "spiriten" i retningslinjene til Google.
Dette har nå rystet bransjen hardt, noe jeg allerede har beskrevet. Kunder sier opp hos Prioritet, men vet ikke hvem de skal gå til. Hvordan kan de vite hvem som er seriøse aktører? Jeg er helt sikker på at Prioritet er eller virker seriøse i alle ledd utover det de har gjort for å nedkalle Googles vrede.
Bransjen besvarer ilden; de seriøse søkemotoraktørene i Norge slår seg sammen for å danne et nettverk. Dette nettverket skal beskytte kunder mot å ta dårlige avgjørelser. Man kan selvsagt ikke nå ut til alle, men tilbudet skal være der slik at det skal gå an å finne ut hvem som er seriøse og ikke.
I søkemotormiljøet i Norge tror jeg nå det blir snakk om før og etter Prioritet-saken.
